About

My career in the corporate world started in Barcelona at Sara Lee Corporation, a Fortune 500 company in consumer goods, where I worked for a few years until I decided to move to California in 2012.

The following years I explored different industries while building up a new life and career in a new culture, in a second language

My most recent experience has been with Getty Images and The Walt Disney Company. My journey with Disney started in 2014, working at Walt Disney Imagineering with the master minds that create the magic behind the Parks and continued with The Walt Disney Studios where I transitioned to focus in film and production teams and switched from Recruitment to HR.

Working in various industries and highly creative folks allowed me to form unique perspectives and develop agility to analyze problems and find holistic and creative solutions.

My Disney Story 2014-2021

My Disney journey started with a 2 month short term contract at Walt Disney Imagineering, working with the most multi-disciplinary teams that create the magic behind the parks.

I was hired to participate in the workforce planning project for the Disney Shanghai Resort where I conducted research based projects, analytics and created presentations for the Director in charge.

Later, I was recommended to another position in the Imagineering Recruitment team. I had so much fun recruiting for roles at Parks and I worked with teams for both Disneyland, California and Disney World, Florida.

Once I maxed out on my time as a contractor, little I thought I would end up in the place I thought only existed in my head since I was a child. Walt Disney Animation Studios was an experience I would rate beyond my dreams. I got a full time role in the Recruiting and Outreach department having the opportunity to be part of productions such as Moana, Ralph Breaks the Internet and Frozen 2. That Studio was something like I never experienced before in regards to how they understand Culture and Collaboration.

If it wasn’t for my thirst to grow I would have stayed longer but a promotion opportunity in the live action side of the house came along and I transitioned to Walt Disney Motion Pictures and Marvel Studios.

The last three years working in live action production and switching from Recruiting to HR would turn out to be the craziest years of my career. The number and pace of organizational changes that Disney was experiencing in the film industry during that time was unprecedented (plus a pandemic).

Working with top talent in cultural and impactful DEI projects was one of my biggest highlights as well as creating new initiatives that I had the chance to lead.

Getty Images is the world's leading visual expert, capturing, creating, and preserving content to elevate visual communications in all areas.

From the moment they called me to schedule an interview, I felt a strong connection to Getty Images' vision. During my tenure, I served as a Manager and HR Business Partner for Creative and Editorial in Sports, News, and Entertainment.

Collaborating closely with photojournalists, videographers, creators, art directors, and creative researchers provided me with an unparalleled learning experience in this sector.

Driving business solutions and creating opportunities to enhance people’s wellbeing, growth and performance was a core focus of my role. I partnered closely with the HR Director based in London, and who oversaw EMEA while I was focusing on managing the teams in the US and LATAM.
